Pearl Harbor Tour
Lieutenant Kermit A. Tyler, U.S. Army, received a warning concerning multiple signals from radar sighted off Oahu’s North Shore in Kahuku. That same morning six U.S. B-17 Bombers were due in along the same flight path. Tyler dismissed the warning believing the unusually large radar signal to be our B-17’s, when in reality it was 183 Japanese attack planes directed at Pearl Harbor.
