Full Description

Experience A Day At Pearl Harbor and discover why the attack is remembered as "a day that will live in infamy." Our expert guide will give a give a stirring historical narration of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on your way to the USS Arizona Memorial!

The USS Arizona Memorial is a breathtaking structure that rests above the sunken battleship at Pearl Harbor. Remember the attack through many memorials and museums, including a film of actual footage taken during the assault of December 7, 1941. Then, board the Navy Shuttle to see the "Black Tears of the Arizona", as you remember the 1,177 men still resting in the Arizona Battleship.

The USS Bowfin Submarine, one of the most celebrated war vessels in United States history, is docked just inside the Visitor's Center. Here, you will gain a fresh understanding of what life is like for the sailors stationed on board. For months at a time, the brave officers patrol the tight corridors of the sub, often without seeing the light of day for weeks on end.

The USS Missouri Battleship, affectionately known as the "Might Mo," and known internationally as one of the world's most impressive battleships takes you to the exact location where World War II was surrendered by the Japanese. Stand beneath the battleships massive gun turrets on the top deck and find out how much devistation that just one shot can do.

Before leaving Pearl Harbor, visit the hangars of the Pacific Aviation Museum for a unique look at the aviation history of the United States. See the planes of World War II and the new additions that are currently used by the United States Armed Forces.

As an added bonus, journey through historic Downtown Honolulu and see many of the most sacred and important cultural landmarks in Hawaii. The Iolani Palace, Punchbowl Cemetery of the Pacific, and Oahu's Statue of King Kamehameha the Great are just a few of the structures you will see from the comfort of the tour bus.

Bruce was an excellent guide, he knows everything about this island. The stops were brief, but lovely. The lunch was good. Swimming at the falls was very neat (could use more time there). The whole day was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this tour and would book with this company again in the future.

The Bowfin Submarine was incredibly interesting and it was my favorite part of the tour. I also loved our guide, Kanoelani; she gave us an incredible narration that was so informative.

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour we got from Pappy. He really seems to know the island well as well as his history of Pearl Harbor. He\'s passionate about what he does and really gave us our money\'s worth. We wish we had a little more time in some of the places. You have a great tour guide in Pappy!

Pappy was our great tour guide on 09/09/09. Great speaker and personality!!!! Great tips for photos at the USS Arizona Memorial. The lunch was great at the aviation museum. Try the pulled pork sandwich!! I was happy to be one of Pappy\'s cousins on my trip to Pearl Harbor. It was a great history lesson. A must see if you are going to Hawaii.

It was really good. We thought the option of going to Pearl Harbor early was great. We were the first ones in and that was wonderful. We loved the time that we got to spend at the Arizona memorial. Some people said that we spent too long there, but I didn’t think so.

We enjoyed everything. We\'re history buffs, so it was great. Overwhelming in a good way. I liked the Missouri, and my husband really enjoyed the Aviation Museum.
